Masti, an Indian fusion concept from chef/owner and Cafe Bombay managing director Ricky Walia, recently opened in Toco Hills. The restaurant serves lunch and dinner seven days a week at 2945-C North Druid Hills Road, taking over the former Osteria Cibo Rustico space.
“I thoroughly enjoyed eating my way through cities such as New Delhi, Mumbai, Gujrat, and Punjab,” Walia said in a prepared statement. “Some of the most innovative food today is being prepared by street vendors. I want to share such culinary creativity with Atlanta.”
The menu, with dishes such as a paneer dog, spiced keema burger, butter chicken tacos, and Masti masala pasta, isn’t exactly traditional Indian. Instead, Walia wants diners to have fun with their food — “Masti” translates to “fun” in Hindi.
